CORNELL CULTURE

Cornell Design is an Inclusive Culture. As an equal-opportunity employer, Cornell Design acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as First Nations people and traditional owners of this land and respects the unique position of Indigenous Australians in contemporary Australian society and acknowledges the challenges they face. We try to understand the Indigenous culture to improve the employment experience and this will manifest in improved employee retention and output quality.

SECURITY CLEARANCES

All designers that would be put forward for placement would be Police Checked, (this is part of our existing employment policy), and be eligible for clearance to the appropriate level as prescribed. Cornell Design has successfully cleared several existing staff and sees no reason why obtaining clearances as required would be a problem other than the DISP processing period at the time of applying.

SAFETY

The safety of our staff and the people that they interact with is of paramount importance. We are proud to have never had a workplace injury since the company was established in April 2010.

Intellectual Property

All our employees have an extensive contract that binds them to Cornell Design’s policy of respecting our client’s Intellectual Property (IP) so that they are not able to ever use images or content externally to represent their capabilities or that of Cornell Design. All IP remains the property of the client.
